Day and Time: September 17th from 4-6 pm at GSU’s E-Lounge (E building)
Organizers: SEA and KDP
About: Informative panel from first-year teachers, recent student teachers, GSU graduates, edTPA experts, veteran teachers, and retired teachers. Ask questions and get advice about your upcoming experience from experts!

KDP Initiation Ceremony
Day and Time: Wednesday, October 2nd from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at GSU’s E-lounge (E building)
Organizers: KDP (Kappa Delta Pi)
About: Students who were invited and accepted into the KDP Honors Society will be officially initiated into the organization

IEA Conference
Day and Time: Friday, October 18th from 6-10pm & Saturday, October 19th from 8-3pm

About: Join us for a day of professional development designed to prepare you for a career in education. Network with future teachers from around the state while learning about pertinent topics that will help you in the classroom and in your career. The conference consists of several professional development sessions/seminars on various teaching topics.
Audience: Future teachers throughout Illinois. All students who are entering education programs at colleges and universities around the state are encouraged to attend.
Fee: $5 if registering online no later than October 1oth at 11:59 pm. $15 until online registration closes on October 14th. $25 registration fee at the door.
