PetFest (fundraiser & social)

  • Saturday, June 17th, 2017 at 10am-2pm at TBD

  • open to all students, friends, families, faculty, staff and community members
  • Bring your pets and participate in the events.
  • We are requesting donations. Proceeds go to covering the cost of the event and to the local animal shelter, TBD

Reading Showcase

  • SEA is hosting Foundations 4 AdVANCEment elementary students who will come and participate in events to compete and showcase their literacy skills

Spring Celebration (social)

  • celebrate the end of student teaching and practicum, and all of the upcoming graduates!

Professional Development Workshops (Technology):

  • Thursday, August 18 from 8am-4pm at Hellenic Day School in Deerfield, IL
  • All leaders involved in planning and presenting.  They are providing workshops on using technology in classrooms and schools for professional development day at a local school.  This is an addition to the NEA Grant in Spring 2016.

Student Club Fair:

  • Join us for GSU’s Jaguar Jump Fair! During this fair GSU’s first sophomore class is jumping into their program! There will be informational tables set up from each college and program on campus. SEA will have a table to represent not only SEA but the department of education as well. Stop by to say hi, get information, and eat free food!
