For the holiday season, Governors State University held an ornament decorating contest for the different departments on campus. The task was to decorate a 5×5 ornament using any crafting materials desired. After all the ornaments were completed, GSU displayed them on the university holiday tree in the Hall of Governors, where they currently reside.

Certainly, SEA/KDP decided to participate in this fun competition! Two of our leaders, Keelin Crotty and Kaitlyn Zalkowski, brainstormed ideas with other leaders and worked together to create a snowman ornament for our department (see picture below). The judging took place a few days ago in order to announce the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. 

We are proud to announce that SEA/KDP’s ornament won first place! 
The judges were impressed with the level of creativity that went into the final product. Congratulations to all who participated and made this win possible!
