This year Student IEA is holding the annual fall conference in Hoffman Estates, IL on November 18th and 19th. The theme is “Constructing our Teaching Careers.”

This is a professional development opportunity for all of our SEA members. There are a variety of sessions to choose from so you can hear about topics of your interest.You won’t want to miss out on this opportunity! As a future educator it is important to stay up-to-date on education topics not covered in your university courses; the fall conference is a great place to get that information. There will be future educators, licensed teachers,  university professors, and Retired IEA members from across the state at this conference so this will be the perfect opportunity to start networking.

With the low cost of attending this conference and the many benefits you gain, this is not something you should pass up.

There is an early bird special! If you sign up by October 17th you’ll save $20, if you sign up by November 7th you’ll save $10.

This year they are doing something new. With the location of the conference close to one of Chicago’s busiest interstates there will be extra sessions offered Friday afternoon before dinner.
